I have bilateral Anophthalmia. My adopters will need to have me spayed when I'm older

07-02-26 Wanda is an adorable Poodle cross who was born here at the rescue after her mum arrived at Many Tears pregnant. Mum is doing well, and the puppies will soon be ready to start their big adventure into family life.

These puppies will need homes where someone is at home all day, with only very occasional short absences.

This type of breed is known for its lovely coat and will require regular grooming to prevent matting. They are playful, affectionate, and friendly, making them excellent companions and family pets. Poodle crosses are generally high-energy dogs and will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation, so please bear this in mind when applying.

Wanda was born with bilateral Anophthalmia meaning she has no eyes. Her adopters will need to create a safe, consistent environment by keeping furniture in place and padding hazards. Adopters can also stimulate her other senses with noisy toys and scent work. She can still live a full, happy life through routine, play, and love, just like her sighted companions.

She could be homed as an only dog or could live with another dog who wouldn't mind a playful puppy running around and would be happy to help guide her.

Wanda's adopter must agree to have her spayed when she is old enough and to attend socialisation and training classes to help her grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult dog.

Raised with love and care, these puppies will make wonderful family members and will be ready to be adopted once they are 8 weeks old.
