Rouxlet
22-02-26 Rouxlet has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home of her own. She is understandably feeling very worried and unsure at the moment. Everything around her is new and quite overwhelming, so she is taking her time to process this big change in her life. Despite her fear, Rouxlet has such a sweet nature and easily allows you to pick her up and handle her.
Rouxlet would be best suited to a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who understand nervous ex-breeding dogs and are prepared to give her the time and reassurance she needs. She could live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who will respect her gentle nature and allow her to build confidence at her own pace.
She loves to snuggle up with her kennel friends and clearly finds great comfort in the company of other dogs so she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help her settle and show her that the world is not such a frightening place. Having a friendly doggy role model will be so important for her development. She could potentially live with older dog-savvy teens that allow her the space and time she needs to settle and are ideally quiet in the home.
Rouxlet has never lived in a home before, so she will need help learning all about home life, including house training, walking on a lead, and getting used to everyday household noises and routines. With patience, kindness and consistency, we are sure she will slowly begin to flourish.
She has been spayed and has had 2 teeth removed at the time of her surgery.
Rouxlet has been given the Gift of Life by Sascha Painter
