Rheaquin
15-02-26 Rheaquin is a nervous girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a quiet little girl who tends to keep herself to herself and watch the world from a safe distance.
At the moment, Rheaquin is feeling unsure and is taking comfort from the company of her kennel friends. She will need to be homed with at least one other calm and confident resident dog who can offer her reassurance and help her build confidence in her new surroundings.
As Rheaquin has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who can gently guide her through house training, lead training, and all the everyday basics of home life. She will benefit from a predictable routine, a quiet environment, and people who are happy to let her move at her own pace.
We are looking for an adult-only home for Rheaquin so that she can settle without too much noise or activity. A peaceful household where she can feel safe will allow her confidence to grow gradually.
Rheaquin has had a vet health check, and a small lump has been found on her eyelid and a small lump on her left side which have been removed at the time of her spay. She arrived 7 teeth missing and had a further 6 removed. She also has a slightly undershot jaw, which is not causing her any issues. She is currently a little underweight and her skin is in poor condition, but with a good groom, a balanced diet, and gentle exercise, we hope to see her looking and feeling much more comfortable very soon.
With kindness, time, and understanding, Rheaquin has the potential to form a very special bond with her new family and quietly blossom into a devoted little companion.
Rheaquin has been given the Gift of Life by Claudia Bunn
