Roux
19-02-26 Roux has come into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. The world feels like a very big and scary place for her right now, and she is finding comfort in snuggling closely with her kennel friends. She is going to need an incredibly patient and understanding home that will allow her to take everything at her own pace and blossom in her own time.
Roux gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies heavily on their company for reassurance. Because of this, she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her, show her the ropes, and give her the comfort she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.
As Roux has never lived in a home before, she will need help learning all about house training, lead walking, and the everyday basics that many dogs take for granted. Her new family will need to be prepared to gently introduce her to home life, celebrating the small steps as she grows in confidence.
We are looking for an ex-breeding experienced home for Roux so that she has the right support and understanding around her. She could share her home with calm, dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate that she will need a quiet, gentle introduction to her surroundings and her own safe space to retreat to when she feels overwhelmed.
With time, patience, and lots of love, Roux has the sweetest nature waiting to shine through. Watching her learn to trust, enjoy soft beds, kind hands, and the simple pleasures of family life will be such a rewarding journey for the special home that gives her that chance.
Roux has had 3 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.
