Rillian
Rillian is a waggy-tailed girl who came into our care from a breeder in search of a brand new start. She is an absolutely delightful little lady with a big personality that is already beginning to shine, although at times she can still be worried.
She has now moved to a foster home where she is settling in well. She loves to jump up onto the sofa to sit beside her fosterer for strokes and will happily give kisses and rest her head on you. When you are standing she can still be a little unsure and will run away rather than approach you, so she will need patient adopters who will help her continue to build confidence. She adores food and will take treats gently from your hand.
Rillian would be best suited to a calm and quiet home, with adopters who will help her settle in at her own pace. She loves other dogs and relies on them for comfort, so will need to have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing.
She had never lived in a home prior to moving to foster, so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she continues to settle in to home life and learns all about house training. At the moment she is taking herself out to the toilet when the door is open, which is great progress. She also sleeps all night without a peep and has only briefly howled when left alone for a moment, so we don’t expect it to take her long to settle into her forever home.
Rillian isn't walking on a lead and harness just yet and will need to practice around the home and garden until she builds confidence to venture further afield.
She is a comical girl who is and full of charm. She especially loves her toys and when she was at the rescue could often be found proudly carrying a ball around in her mouth.
Rillian is a truly sweet, playful and affectionate little companion who will bring so much happiness to the lucky home that gives her the time, patience and love she deserves.
