Riven
Riven has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She was a very worried girl when she first arrived, but she has really started to come out of her shell since then. She is a friendly girl and once she gets to know you she really enjoys a gentle fuss.
She has recently moved to a foster home where she has settled in very well and is enjoying learning all about home life. She enjoys following her fosterers around the house and loves snuggling up on the sofa, but will approach cautiously. She likes to have company overnight and sleeps all night on their bed. She is toilet trained and has been clean so far in the home. She absolutely loves spending time in the garden and seems to be most relaxed there at the moment.
Riven adores other dogs and takes great comfort from their company, so she will need a home with another kind and confident resident dog that she can snuggle up to for reassurance.
She will be best suited to a calm and quiet home, with adopters who will let her settle in at her own pace and help her to grow in confidence. She had never lived in a home before moving to foster, so this is still very new for her and she will need time and TLC as she adjusts to her new life. She could live with calm, older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of allowing her space when needed.
Riven isn't yet going for walks and will need to first practice walking on a lead and harness in the garden until she is feeling brave enough to venture further.
She is a very sweet girl who is just waiting for someone to take a chance on her and provide the love, patience, and reassurance she truly deserves.
Riven has had 2 teeth removed and an inguinal hernia repaired at the time of her spay.
Riven has been Given the Gift of Life by Jean James
