Rook
04-04-26 Rook is a worried girl who has come to us from a breeder and is searching for a home that will provide her with the love and TLC she needs to help boost her confidence.
She will need a calm home with at least one kind and confident resident dog who can help her settle in and take her under their wing, as she can be easily overwhelmed at the moment. Rook has never lived in a home before, so she will need patient and understanding adopters while she learns about house training and how to walk on a lead.
Right now, the big wide world can feel a little too much for her, so she would prefer some gentle garden sniffs while she builds up her confidence. Rook is a nervous girl with such a gentle nature. She could live with older, dog-savvy teenagers, but she will need a calm and predictable household in order to truly thrive.
Rook needs someone willing to take a chance on her and show her just how wonderful life in a loving home can be.
Rook arrived with us overweight and would benefit from a healthy, balanced diet as she sheds the excess. She had an umbilical hernia, which was repaired at the time of her spay and is has had treatment for a pseudomonas ear infection. When she first arrived, her urine appeared very watery and pale; however, urine and blood tests were clear. This was monitored over several weeks and has now resolved.
