20-02-26 Vienna is a lovely Retriever who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a calm and sweet-natured girl who truly loves human attention and will happily soak up all the fuss she can get. We are told that she has been good with children and cats. She does have a little stubborn streak and doesn’t always come back when called, but despite this mischievous side, she is still a thoroughly delightful and affectionate companion.

Vienna gets on wonderfully with other dogs and would be very happy to share her home with canine friends. However, she is confident enough that she could also be content as the only dog in the home, provided her adopters are around enough to give her the company and companionship she enjoys.

We believe Vienna may have lived in a home environment before, as we are told she is house trained and can already walk on a lead. Once she has had time to settle, she would enjoy one or two gentle walks around the local area, along with some ongoing recall training to help her make better choices when off lead, in secure areas , in the future.

Vienna could share her home with older, dog-savvy children aged 9 and over who understand that she will need a calm and quiet introduction to her new surroundings, along with her own space to relax and settle at her own pace.

Vienna is a truly loving girl with so much devotion to give. In the right home, with patience, consistency, and plenty of affection, she will reward her family with loyalty, warmth, and a lifetime of happy companionship.
