20-02-26 Sheila has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. This gentle girl is understandably feeling very overwhelmed by all the changes around her and is quite shy and worried at the moment. The world feels like a big and scary place right now, but you can see how much she wants to be brave. When she has her kennel friends by her side, Sheila finds a little bit of courage and will quietly approach you to say hello and give your hand a gentle nose boop.

Sheila will need a calm and quiet home where she can settle at her own pace. Having at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home will be essential to help her settle in and boost her confidence. We would consider homing her with older, dog savvy teenagers.

Having never lived in a home before, Sheila will need patient and understanding adopters who are prepared to guide her gently as she learns all about home life. Everything will be new to her and she will need to learn all about house training and new skills like walking on a lead.

In the right home, with love, kindness and another dog to help show her the way, we truly believe Sheila will grow into a devoted and loyal companion. She just needs someone to see past the worry in her eyes and give her the chance she so deserves.
