25-02-26 Buddy is a sweet, gentle boy who originally came to us from a breeder. He was happily adopted and spent several years in a loving home. Sadly, when the resident dog he relied on passed away, Buddy found it very difficult to cope on his own. With his wellbeing in mind, his previous adopters made the heart-breaking decision to return him to us so he can enjoy his retirement years with the companionship he truly needs.

Buddy will need a new home with a calm, friendly resident dog that he can bond with and rely on. He thrives with canine companionship and feels most secure when he’s not alone. He also needs adult-only adopters who are around for much of the day, as he does experience some separation anxiety.

He is a quiet, calm, and affectionate boy who simply wants to be loved. Having already experienced life in a caring home, Buddy would dearly love to settle back into one. We are told he is not completely house-trained, so he will need a patient and understanding family willing to continue his learning with kindness and consistency.

Buddy walks nicely on the lead and would enjoy a few gentle, quiet walks each day, balanced, of course, with plenty of cuddle time! He truly is a wonderful boy who is ready to spend his golden years in a peaceful, loving home surrounded by comfort and companionship.

Buddy has come back to us with age related bilateral cataracts and bilateral patella luxation. We are told he needs a grain free diet and he is missing all of his teeth.
