Morgan
06-03-26 Morgan is a very worried little boy who has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for his forever home. At the moment, he is quite touch sensitive and clearly isn’t used to being handled. If you go slowly, he can accept gentle handling, but if he feels pushed out of his comfort zone, he may choose to panic and make the wrong decision.
Morgan will need a calm and quiet adult only home, with no visiting children, and adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs. He will need plenty of patience and understanding as he begins to learn that human hands can be kind, and with time and reassurance, he will start to leave the past behind him.
He relies on the company of other dogs for confidence and comfort, so his new home must have at least one other kind and confident resident dog to take him under their wing. Morgan has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind and patient as he settles in and learns new skills like house training.
He does not yet know how to walk on a lead and will need to practice in a secure garden. At this stage, he isn’t ready to have a harness put on and off, but with patience he will gradually gain confidence.
Morgan is a sensitive little soul with a lot of love to give. In the right home, with the right guidance and support, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.
The vets have noted that he has a slight tear in his ear, but this doesn't seem to be causing him any issues. He has had one tooth extracted at the time of his castrate.
Morgan has a travel document.
