  • Human family requirements

I'd like a quiet, adult-only home to help me relax and feel safe.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

    Please read my information below.

05-03-26 Mickie is a very sweet Bichon Frise who has come into our care from a breeder. She is nervous at the moment but is easy to handle and shows a gentle, kind nature.

Mickie gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.

As Mickie has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters who can teach her about house training, lead walking, and the everyday basics of home life. A calm routine and plenty of reassurance will help her confidence grow.

We are looking for a quiet, adult-only home for Mickie so that she can relax and settle into her new surroundings without too much hustle and bustle. A peaceful environment will suit her best while she builds trust.

Our vets have noted that she has luxating patella on her left side. This may improve with gentle exercise, but will need to be monitored in her new home. She has also had two cysts removed and is currently being treated for conjunctivitis.

Mickie is a gentle little soul who simply needs time, patience, and love. In the right home, she has every chance of blossoming into a devoted and affectionate companion.

She has a PETS travel document.

Mickie has been given the Gift of Life by Jackie Harvey & Katerina Loopstra
