Candy
Candy has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was quite worried, but she has wasted no time coming out of her shell and has already grown so much in confidence! Her cheeky little personality has started to shine through and we think she is going to love being someones special girl. She is happy to be handled and enjoys a gentle fuss.
Candy looks to other dogs for comfort and reassurance, so she will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her settle in. We would consider homing her with sensible, dog-savvy teenagers who can understand that she will need time and kindness as she adjusts.
She has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She has already learned to walk on a lead and harness while with us and now loves to go for walks. One of her absolute favourite things to do is sunbathe, so she’d love a home with a nice, secure garden where she can spend her summers soaking up the sunshine.
Candy is the sweetest girl and it's hard to believe that she's still waiting, so hopefully her forever family will find her soon.
She has a slightly undershot jaw, which doesn't bother her and she arrived with superficial wounds on both ear flaps, which have been treated. She has also been treated for a ear infection.
Candy has a travel document.
