21-03-26 Barney has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home. Although we don’t know much about his past, we do know that he originally came to the UK from the Czech Republic. He is a very sweet boy who is understandably a little worried to find himself here at the moment, but once he gets to know you he seems to really enjoy a gentle fuss and is a total sweetheart!

Barney would love to find a calm and patient home where his adopters are around for much of the time and can help him settle into his new life. As far as we are aware he has never lived in a home before, so he will need kind and understanding adopters who are happy to give him the time he needs to adjust and learn about home life, including new skills like house training.

Barney is confident enough that he could be homed as the only dog in the home as long as his adopters were around most of the time, but we would also consider homing him with a female resident dog. He cannot be homed with male dogs. Barney has met cats at the rescue fine and he could be homed with a dog-savvy cat.

Barney already walks nicely on a lead and we think he is going to really enjoy exploring the world and going on plenty of walks and adventures with his new family. With patience, reassurance and lots of love, we believe Barney will make a wonderful companion in the right home.
