Apple would like a home with her best friend Austin

22-03-26 Apple has come to us from a breeder alongside her best friend Austin. They take great comfort in each other’s company, and because of their close bond, we would very much love to see them find a forever home together.

Apple is a happy girl who is full of character and is happy to enjoy some gentle fuss and attention. She is full of energy can already walk well on a lead, so we think she is going to enjoy going on walks and adventures with her new family.

Apple and Austin are looking for a calm and quiet home where they can settle at their own pace. They would benefit from adopters who have experience with the Chow Chow breed and understand their unique needs and characteristics. We would consider homing them with dog savvy teenagers aged 16+. As they would be adopted together, they wouldn’t need another dog in the home.

Apple has never lived in a home before, so will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently guide her as she learns about the world. This will include things like house training and getting used to everyday household life. With time, consistency, and love, Apple has so much potential to grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion.

Austin and Apple are looking for that special home where they can continue their journey together, feeling safe, secure, and loved, so please don't leave them waiting too long.

Apple has been seen by our vets who have noted she has an entropion in her left eye, which will need to be repaired while she is with us. She has also arrived with sore skin and areas of alopecia, so is receiving medicated baths to help with this.
