EMILY WOULD LIKE TO BE HOMED WITH EMERALD
24-03-26 Emily is a sweet lady who has come into our care from a breeder. She arrived with her friend Emerald and they love to snuggle together and seem to rely on each other for comfort, so we would like for them to be homed together. They get on wonderfully with other dogs, so they would be happy to share their home with another kind resident dog around their size or larger or they could be homed where it would be just the two of them. They will be looking for a calm and quiet home with adopters who have experience with nervous rescue dogs and will allow them to settle in at their own pace.
Emily is a gentle little girl who is still a little unsure of humans, but she is calm and allows handling when needed. With some patience and love, she will grow more confident and comfortable.
As Emily has never lived in a home before, she will need gentle support with house training, lead training, and other basics of home life.
She could share her home with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can appreciate that she will need a calm, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in.
Emily has arrived with a cataract in her left eye, which will be monitored to ensure she is comfortable and healthy. She has had 2 teeth removed at the time of her spay.
Emily is a gentle, loving girl with a heart full of affection. She just needs a patient and caring home where she can feel safe and cherished.
Emily has a travel document.
