  • Human family requirements

I could live with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs, or be the only dog. I don't mind. I am fine with cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

22-03-26 Lupin is the sweetest Cocker Spaniel who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a very excitable and friendly girl who loves being around people and will happily follow the staff around the kennel.

Lupin gets on wonderfully with other dogs, so she would be happy to share her home with canine companions. She is also confident enough that she could live as the only dog, as long as her adopters are around much of the time to keep her company and give her the attention she enjoys. She has met cats at the rescue fine and so may be able to be homed with dog savvy cats.

As Lupin has never lived in a home before, she will need guidance with house training, lead walking, and all the basics of home life. She is not yet walking on a lead but is comfortable wearing one, so with a little practice and patience, she should pick this up quickly.

Lupin could share her home with older, dog-savvy children who understand that she will need a gentle introduction to the home and time to settle into her new routine.

Lupin arrived with a haematoma, possibly linked to a previous abscess, and her tail is currently a little inflamed. She also has some trauma to her nail bed. Our vets are monitoring all of this closely and making sure she is as comfortable as possible while she prepares for her forever home. She has also had a mammary lump removed at the time of her spay.

This lovely girl adores attention and affection and is full of personality. With the right home, she will make a fun, loving, and devoted companion.

She has a travel document.
