24-03-26 Piper is a gentle and sensitive girl who came to us from a breeder and can be quite shy when first approached. She may feel unsure of new people at the beginning, but with a little patience and kindness, she soon begins to relax. Once she feels safe, Piper enjoys being handled and will happily settle down for a calm fuss, she especially loves a cuddle.

Piper greets familiar faces with a wagging tail and the sweetest smile, and she is sure to form strong, loving bonds in a home environment. She takes comfort from other dogs, so she would benefit from living with a kind, confident resident dog who can help guide her and build her confidence.

Having never lived in a home before, Piper will need patient adopters who can support her as she learns the basics, such as house training and walking on a lead. She is naturally curious and will enjoy discovering the world at her own pace. A secure garden where she can safely explore and potter around would be ideal for her. She can live with older dog-savvy teens who allow her time to settle in at her own pace.

With time, understanding, and reassurance, Piper will blossom into a wonderful and devoted companion.
