Picalo has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to begin her search for a loving forever home. She is a very sweet and dinky little girl who initially found recent changes quite overwhelming, but she is already beginning to show just how gentle and special she is.

Since being with us, Picalo has made lovely progress and there is a noticeable change in her. Where she once looked unsure and worried, she is now starting to appear brighter and more hopeful as she begins to realise she is safe. She remains a sensitive and nervous girl, but she is taking small steps forward each day.

Although she can still be unsure of people and may keep her distance at first, she is becoming more curious and will slowly approach when she feels comfortable, especially if she sees attention being given to others. On her terms, she will allow gentle interaction and is starting to build trust in a very sweet and cautious way. When handled calmly, she is able to settle nicely and can relax once she feels secure.

Picalo is easily startled by sudden movements and louder noises, so she will need a calm and quiet home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace. She is a sensitive little girl who will need patient and understanding adopters who can provide gentle, consistent reassurance as she learns to feel safe.

Picalo absolutely loves the company of other dogs and takes great comfort from them. She will need a home with at least one kind and confident resident dog that she can look to for reassurance and guidance, helping her to feel safe and continue building her confidence.

Picalo has never lived in a home before, so she will need kind and understanding adopters who can help her learn all about the world at her own pace. This will include house training, learning to walk on a lead, and getting used to everyday sights and sounds. She has not yet experienced walks or much of life outside of kennels, so everything will be new to her and will need to be introduced slowly and positively.

She is a quiet, gentle girl who causes no trouble and shares well, making her a lovely addition to the right home. With love, kindness, and patience, Picalo has so much potential to blossom into a devoted and loving little companion.

She is more than ready to take that next step into her forever home, she just needs someone willing to give her the chance she deserves.
