Primrose
23-03-26 Primrose is a sweet girl who has come into our care from a breeder. She is curious about the world and has a very affectionate nature. She is happy to be handled, although she currently avoids eye contact with people. Despite this, she remains calm and does not try to run away, she is simply unsure of our intentions at the moment.
Primrose relies on other dogs for comfort, so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and companion.
As Primrose has never lived in a home before, she will need patient adopters to help her learn about house training, lead walking, and the everyday basics of home life. She is already showing promise and should grow in confidence on the lead with a little practice.
Primrose could share her home with older, dog-savvy children who understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction and her own space to settle in.
Primrose has arrived with a low-grade luxating patella in both legs, which is not currently affecting her mobility and may improve with gentle exercise. She is also a little underweight and will need support to reach a healthier weight. Our vets will ensure she is comfortable and well cared for while she prepares for her forever home.
Primrose is a gentle and loving girl who just needs a little time to fully trust. With patience and kindness, she will soon show just how devoted and special she can be.
She has a travel document.
Primrose has been given the Gift of Life by Paula Elliott
