23-04-26 This beautiful little girl is Vivian and she has come to us to find her perfect forever home. Vivan was sadly left outside our gates in a very sorry state and it was clear she had not had the care she so desperately needed. We believe she is an ex-breeding dog, but unfortunately don't know anything about her history.

Over the past few weeks Vivian has received lots of love, care and much needed TLC and she is now ready to begin the search for her forever home. Despite everything she has been through, Vivian is an incredibly sweet girl with the waggiest of tails. She will happily come running up to say hello and is always pleased to see you. She adores the company of other dogs and takes great comfort from them, so she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her as she settles.

We do not believe Vivian has ever lived in a home before, so she will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently introduce her to all aspects of home life, including house training. She can walk on a lead and harness, but will need further practice as she continues to build her confidence.

Vivian is a very special little girl who has already shown how resilient she is, and with time, kindness and love she will blossom in a home of her own. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy older children.

When Vivian arrived, she was very underweight and had areas of alopecia and sore skin. We are hopeful that her fur will grow back once she is spayed and now that she is receiving lots of TLC. Vivian also has some mammary lumps, which our vets will assess at the time of her spay. Our vets have noted that there was a Grade 1 heart murmur detected upon arrival but has not been heard again since. She has had 8 teeth removed during her spay, and 5 teeth were already missing. She has also had a superficial fatty cyst removed and is being treated for a bilateral ear infection. She is quite stiff on her back legs, but this may improve with gentle exercise and she is currently being trialled on supplements like yumove.
