  • Other pet requirements

I can be an only dog or live with other dogs. I have never met cats.

  • Out and about requirements

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

17-04-26 Heather has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for her very own forever home. She is a beautiful, very sweet girl who has already shown us what a lovely nature she has and enjoys fuss and attention.

She is confident enough that we would consider homing her as an only dog, provided her adopters are around for most of the day to give her the companionship she needs. She could also happily share her home with another kind and gentle resident dog, though would be best suited to a friend around a similar size to her. We would consider homing her with dog savvy teenagers who will be calm, kind and gentle as she settles into her new life.

Heather has shown some signs of food guarding around other dogs, so she will need to be fed separately to any other dogs. She will need confident adopters who can manage this appropriately and continue working with her.

Heather has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She enjoys having a sniff and exploring her surroundings and can already walk on a lead, but does need more practice with this as she builds up confidence on walks.

Heather is a truly lovely girl who is ready to start her new chapter in a loving home. With time, love and reassurance, she is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.

Heather has a travel document.
