Abbie
18-04-26 Abbie has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a truly wonderful girl who already seems to adore people and enjoys plenty of fuss and attention once she gets to know you. We think she is going to absolutely love being someone’s very special girl. She is a happy, waggy soul who can’t help but make you smile when you meet her.
Abbie is a confident girl so so she will be happy sharing her home with another kind and friendly resident dog who can be her guide and best friend or she could equally be as happy as an only dog as long as her adopters are around to keep her company.
As Abbie has never lived in a home before, she will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently teach her all about home life and new skills like house training. Everything will be new to her, but she has such a lovely nature and we think she will really enjoy learning and discovering life at her own pace. She is starting to learn all about walking on a lead and harness and is enjoying walks but will need more practice to build her confidence.
With kind adopters who have plenty of time, love and encouragement to give, we are sure Abbie will grow in confidence and become a devoted and affectionate companion. She is a very special girl who will bring so much happiness to her forever home.
Our vets have noted that Abbie had an inguinal hernia and umbilical hernia that was repaired at the time of her spay and that she also has entropion in both eyes, though no action is needed at this stage. This is something that her adopters and their vet would need to monitor going forwards. She is currently being treated for a ear infection and dermatitis, which may be caused by allergies and has had 4 teeth removed at the time of spay.
Abbie has a travel document.
