18-04-26 Biscuit has come to us from a breeder to find his forever home and is now searching for the perfect retirement sofa to call his own. This lovely older gentleman is a very sweet boy who enjoys plenty of fuss and attention. He will happily jump up to say hello to you and ask for some strokes from anyone kind enough to offer them.

Biscuit is a fairly confident boy and in the right circumstances, we would consider homing him as an only dog, provided his adopters are around for most of the time to keep him company. He does get along well with other dogs and would be happy to share his home with kind female dogs, but he wouldn’t like to live with another male. He has met cats fine around the rescue so could possibly be homed with a dog savvy cat.

As Biscuit has never lived in a home before, he will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently guide him as he learns all about home life and house training. He can already walk on a lead and we think he will really enjoy gentle strolls with his new family.

Biscuit would love a calm and loving home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort. We would consider homing him with dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of being gentle and calm around him.

With kind adopters who have lots of love and time to give, Biscuit will make a wonderfully affectionate and devoted companion, ready to enjoy a happy and cosy retirement.

Biscuit arrived with mange, which is currently being treated. Our vets also found that he had severe periodontal disease and he has since had 10 teeth removed. He has root exposure on four of his canine teeth, but there is no infection and they remain solid in the jaw, so it was decided to leave them in place. His adopters and their vet will need to monitor these going forward.

Biscuit has a travel document.
