18-04-26 Amelia is a gorgeous girl who has come to us from a breeding environment and has the sweetest nature. She has a beautiful personality and clearly wants to be confident, she’ll happily waddle over to you to seek out attention when she feels brave enough. She truly has a heart of gold, and she absolutely melts when she’s given a gentle fuss, it’s definitely the way to win her over!

Amelia is gaining confidence every day but will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her as she continues to settle and learn about the world around her. She could live with dog-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving her space and allowing her to settle at her own pace.

As she has never lived in a home before, Amelia will need support with all the basics, including house training and learning everyday routines. She is starting to learn all about walking on a lead and harness, but this is very new to her and she will need more practice to gain confidence.

With time, patience, and plenty of love, Amelia is sure to blossom and become a wonderful companion in her new home.

Amelia has arrived with a wound on her right eye lid that has healed nicely. She currently has some fur loss on her nose and is being treated for a ear infection.

She has been spayed, but the surgery was more complex than usual as her uterine horns had extensive scar tissue attaching them to surrounding organs. A small section of uterine tissue was left in place as it was too closely attached to the intestines to safely remove. She is recovering well and this shouldn't cause any future issues.

Amelia has a travel document.
