09-05-26 Gloria is a lovely girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She has been described as a very sweet angel who will happily come over for a fuss and accepts being handled.
She will be looking for a calm and quiet home and would benefit from adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs. We would consider homing her with gentle, dog savvy teenagers.
Gloria gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.
As Gloria has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, walking on a lead and harness, and the other basics of home life. With patience and consistency, she will begin to feel more confident and secure.
Gloria has arrived a little overweight, so we are managing this with gentle exercise and a balanced diet. This will need to be continued in her new home to ensure she stays healthy and happy. She also has an underbite but she doesn't let this bother her.
Gloria is a lovely girl who, with the support of another dog and a caring home, will have every chance to settle in and become a wonderful companion.
Gloria has been given the Gift of Life by Hannah West
