  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am learning to walk on a lead and harness, but it's still very new for me.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been neutered and am ready for my forever home.

18-05-26 Finch has come to us from a breeder to begin his search for the loving forever home he has always deserved. At the moment he is a timid little boy who is feeling rather overwhelmed by all the changes in his life. He isn’t quite brave enough to approach us just yet, but when we approach him he does accept soft fuss and tickles, and it’s clear there is a very sweet soul waiting to blossom.

Finch will be looking for a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who understand nervous ex-breeding dogs and will allow him to settle at his own pace. He will need the reassurance of at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place.

Having never lived in a home before, everything will be new to Finch. His adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he learns all about home life, including house training. With time, patience and lots of gentle encouragement, we know he will make wonderful progress.

Finch is just starting to learn about walking on a lead and harness. This is all very new and he will need plenty of practice to build his confidence, but once he masters this we think he would love an active home where he can explore the world by your side.

Finch may be worried right now, but beneath that uncertainty is a gentle little boy ready to blossom into a loving companion for the right family.
