Coco is a wonderful girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. When she first arrived, she was quite shy and overwhelmed, but it didn't take long for her to come out of her shell and start to blossom! She is now a very friendly little girl who loves people and really enjoys having a gentle fuss, though she can still be skittish at times, but with love and TLC her confidence will continue to grow.

She has now moved to a wonderful foster home, where she is experiencing home life for the very first time. She is already settling in well and especially loves her food and treats!

Coco will be looking for a loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and where her adopters have plenty of time to spend with her. She has met children in her foster home and so could be homed with gentle, dog savvy teenagers. She loves other dogs and does rely on them for comfort, so will be looking for a home with another calm and friendly resident dog to be her friend. She is in foster with a cat and is fine with them so may be able to live with a dog savvy cat.

As Coco had never lived in a home before moving to foster, her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she continues to settle in and learn all about home life. She is doing very well with her house training in foster, but may need some reminders in her new home. She has learned all about walking on a lead and harness and loves to explore quiet areas, so we think she will really enjoy going for walks with her new family.

When Coco arrived with us, we noticed she had a slightly unusual gait. To ensure there were no underlying issues, she underwent x-rays, which thankfully showed no abnormalities. She gets around very well and this doesn't seem to effect her, but she can't jump onto furniture so would benefit from having some doggy steps in her home to help her get on and off the sofa etc. She can also lose her balance if playful dogs bump into her, so for this reason she would prefer a home with a calm resident dog who wouldn't knock into her.

Coco is a sweet and affectionate little girl who has so much love to give. This girly pop will bring so much happiness and love into someone’s home. With time, patience, and the support of another dog, she will continue to blossom into a loving and loyal companion.
