Daphney
29-05-26 Daphney is a sweet Cocker Spaniel who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is a gentle and submissive girl who can easily be bullied by other dogs because of her soft nature. There is a sadness about Daphney at the moment that you can see in her eyes, but despite this, she remains easy to handle and is a real sweetheart.
We believe that Daphney will need another kind and gentle dog in the home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system for her as she learns to feel safe and settled. She takes comfort from the company of other dogs and will benefit greatly from having a calm canine companion to guide her.
As Daphney has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a completely new way of living.
Daphney can live with older dog-savvy teens who respect her space and will provide her with a quieter environment and will give her the best chance to grow in confidence at her own pace.
Daphney arrived in our care with bilateral ear infections and conjunctivitis. She is being closely monitored by our vets and is receiving the treatment she needs.
Daphney is such a gentle and deserving little girl who simply needs kindness, patience, and reassurance. In the right home, we are sure her sweet personality will begin to shine through and she will become a loving and devoted companion.
Daphney has a travel document.
