Dawn is a beautiful girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was very worried and was finding kennel life very overwhelming, but she was trying so hard to be brave. She has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is settling in well and experiencing home life for the first time ever.

Dawn has had very limited socialisation with people and doesn't yet understand that human hands can bring kindness and comfort. When approached gently and slowly, Dawn will allow you to handle her, but if she feels overwhelmed or pressured, she can panic and may choose to make the wrong decision. Because of this, she is looking for experienced adopters who will continue building her trust through positive, gentle interactions. Despite her worries, she will happily approach her fosterer for a treat when she's sitting down, showing she is already making encouraging progress.

Dawn will be looking for an adult-only home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing. She takes great comfort from other dogs, and having a calm canine companion will play a huge part in helping her confidence continue to grow.

She had never lived in a home before moving to her foster home, but is already doing very well with her house training and has had no accidents inside and will take herself out to toilet if the door is open. She has adapted well to life in a home and is happy to explore the house and garden, easily moving from one to the other. Dawn doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and will need to practice around the garden until she is feeling confident enough to venture further, at the moment she is too worried to try this.

Dawn has so much potential to blossom and in the right home, we think that she will truly thrive. She deserves the chance to experience love, security and happiness for the very first time. For someone willing to invest the time and understanding she needs, Dawn will be an incredibly rewarding companion as she learns to trust and enjoy life as a cherished family member.

Dawn has a travel document.
