04-06-25 Please meet the beautifully adorable April! She was born here at Many Tears after her mum arrived with us pregnant, and she is now ready to start her search for a very special forever home. As she was an only puppy, it's extra important that she finds adopters who understand the importance of ensuring she is well socialised.

April is a bright, confident and very strong-willed little girl who knows exactly what she wants! As she did not have any puppy siblings to learn from, she has missed out on some important lessons in puppy manners and play. She can be quite mouthy and hasn't yet learned how to use a gentle puppy mouth, so she is looking for an adult home and would not be suitable to live with young children.

Her new family must be committed to helping her grow into a well-rounded adult dog. Attending puppy socialisation and training classes will be essential, as will providing her with lots of positive experiences with different people, dogs, environments and situations. For this reason, April is not suitable for first time dog owners and would be best suited to adopters who have previous dog experience and are confident continuing her training.

April could be homed as an only dog, provided her adopters are dedicated to meeting her socialisation needs and have plenty of time to spend with her. She could benefit from living with another kind, tolerant and well mannered dog who could help show her the ropes. Any resident dog would need to be patient and accepting of a cheeky, boisterous young puppy who is still learning about the world.

She is an active, fun-loving girl who would thrive in a home where her adopters are around for most of the day and can include her in their lives. With the right guidance, consistency and commitment, April has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion and will bring lots of fun, laughter and adventure to her lucky new family.

Her adopters will need to agree to have her spayed at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement. She will not be ready to go to her new home until she is 8 weeks old.

Can live with other dogs
