01-07-26 Rosie is a shy lady who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is an incredibly sweet little girl who was very nervous when she first arrived and was trying to make sense of her new surroundings. Since going into foster, Rosie has been wonderfully brave and has started to show us what a beautiful, gentle-natured girl she really is.

Rosie is such a lovely little dog and is a very quiet, easy-going girl. She enjoys gentle fuss, cuddles and spending time relaxing with her people. Although she can still be unsure at times, her confidence is growing and she is now starting to enjoy human interaction more and more. She has even started sleeping beside her foster family on the sofa and happily settles for cuddles, which is a huge step for this sweet girl.

Rosie is still an anxious girl and will need time to fully settle into a new environment. She can be unsure of new experiences and may need reassurance and gentle guidance as she continues to learn that the world is a safe place. She is a very easy girl to handle and is comfortable being picked up and carried when she needs support.

Rosie gets on wonderfully with other dogs and relies heavily on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind and calm resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. Rosie would ideally like to live with another quiet, older dog who enjoys relaxing and cuddling rather than a lively dog who may overwhelm her. She would prefer a calm home environment with fewer dogs where she can enjoy a peaceful routine.

As Rosie has never lived in a home before, she will need to continue learning all about everyday life. She is still getting used to coming in and out of the house, and her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she gains confidence. She can live with dog-savvy sensible teens who respect her space and understand that she will need a gentle introduction to her new home.

Rosie does not walk on a lead just yet, but her foster mummy is working with her on this, and is building her confidence with having a harness put on and practicing in the garden. Having a canine companion by her side will help her feel much more confident as she continues to explore.

Rosie is currently overweight, so she will need a good diet and gentle exercise to help her reach and maintain a healthy weight. She can be a little fussy with food and may need encouragement, but with patience and a consistent routine she will continue to settle.

Rosie is a truly beautiful little girl with the sweetest nature. She has come such a long way and is starting to show just how loving and affectionate she can be. With time, patience, a calm home, and the support of a gentle canine friend, we are sure Rosie will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion and discover just how good life can be.

Rosie has been spayed and had 12 teeth removed. She is currently being treated for a ear infection.
