  • Human family requirements

I can live with older dog-savvy children, aged 16+ and allow me time to settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have some hormonal alopecia, but this should grow back with time.

17-06-26 Kate has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a shy but very sweet little girl who is feeling rather overwhelmed to find herself here at the moment. Despite her worries, Kate will greet you with a gentle wag of her little tail and is easy to handle, showing what a lovely nature she has.

Kate is looking for a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who will allow her to settle in at her own pace and give her the time she needs to blossom. She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be very new to her and she will need kind and understanding owners who can help her learn all about home life and house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness.

As Kate gains confidence from the company of other dogs, she will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and show her the way. With the support of her canine companion and loving adopters, we are sure she will flourish. She can live with older, dog-savvy teens aged 16+ that will allow her time to settle in at her own pace.

She is such a sweet girl and we think with time, love and TLC she will truly blossom into the most wonderful friend.

She has arrived with some hormonal alopecia, which should start to grow back once she has been spayed.

Kate has been given the Gift of Life by Jane Clifford
