18-06-26 Wonton is a sweet and friendly girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home. She is fairly confident when she has her kennel friends by her side, but can become overwhelmed and a little shut down when she finds herself on her own.

Wonton would like at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who she can lean on for reassurance as she learns all about life in a home, trust and companionship. However, she is gaining confidence every day and can be an only in an experienced home that is around majority of the time. Having never experienced home life before, she will need patient adopters who can help her with house training and guide her through all the new sights, sounds and experiences that come with being part of a family.

She is currently learning to walk on a harness and is making good progress, but she will need her new family to continue this training and help her build confidence at her own pace.

Wonton is currently fed separately from other dogs, and this management will need to continue in her new home. She could live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who will understand her needs and allow her the time and space she needs to settle in.

Wonton is a lovely girl with so much potential, and with the support of a patient family and canine companion, she is sure to flourish. She has had 2 mammary lumps removed at the time of her spay.
