18-06-26 Wendy is a sweet girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a patient and understanding forever home. She is happiest when she has her kennel friends around her and will happily come over for attention, but can be a little shy and unsure when she finds herself on her own.

Wendy will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who she can look to for reassurance as she learns about home life. Having never lived in a home before, she will need support with house training and time to adjust to all the new experiences that come with being part of a family. She can live with older, dog-savvy teens who allow her time to settle in.

She can be easily startled by sudden movement and will often crouch to the ground when she feels unsure, so her adopters will need to be patient and understanding as she continues to build confidence and learn that the world is a safe place. Wendy is easy to handle and enjoys gentle interaction, and she is already beginning to learn how to walk on a lead and harness. This is something that will need ongoing practice and encouragement in her new home.

With a kind canine companion by her side and adopters willing to let her progress at her own pace, Wendy has every chance of blossoming into a happy and confident girl.

Wendy has arrived with dry and flaky skin that should get better with time. She has also had 4 teeth extracted at the time of her spay.

Wendy has been given the Gift of Life by Elaine Craddock
