18-07-26 Dianna has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for the loving forever home she so deserves. She is a lovely, gentle lady who is finding life at the rescue quite overwhelming at the moment. Everything is new and unfamiliar to her, but despite feeling worried, she is trying so hard to be brave. She isn't ready to come over and ask for fusses just yet, preferring to watch from a safe distance, but she is always interested in seeing her kennel friends enjoying attention from people. She will move away if approached too quickly, but she has already started to grow in confidence and has discovered that tasty treats, especially chicken, are worth being brave for.

Dianna will be looking for a calm and quiet home with patient adopters who will allow her to settle at her own pace and never expect too much from her too soon. She will need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can show her the way. Watching another dog enjoying cuddles, walks and home comforts will help her confidence to blossom. Dianna could live with sensible teenagers aged 16 years and over.

As Dianna has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be understanding as she learns everything from scratch. She will need help with housetraining, learning about household noises and routines, and gradually building her confidence. She has never walked on a lead or harness before, so this will need to be introduced slowly and positively once she feels settled in her new surroundings.

With time, patience and lots of gentle encouragement, we know Dianna has the potential to grow into a wonderful companion. Seeing dogs like her discover the joys of family life is always incredibly rewarding, and we can't wait to see her confidence bloom in the loving home she so deserves.
