17-07-26 Demi has come into our care from a breeder and is now looking for a patient and understanding forever home where she can begin the next chapter of her life. Demi is a very nervous little girl who is finding everything quite overwhelming. She is quite worried about us at the moment, but once she has had a little time to get to know you, she is easy to handle and begins to relax.

Demi is looking for a calm, quiet, adult-only home with adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs and understand the time, patience and gentle encouragement these special dogs need. She will not be the sort of dog who settles overnight, but with love and understanding we know she has every chance of growing in confidence.

Demi will need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing. A canine friend will help reassure her, teach her about life in a home and give her the confidence to explore the world around her.

As Demi has never lived in a home before, everything will be completely new to her. She will need patient adopters who are happy to help her learn all about home life, including house training, household routines and the many sights and sounds she has never experienced before. She doesn't yet walk on a lead or harness and will need to practice in a secure garden until she is feeling confident enough to venture further.

Demi may be a worried girl at the moment, but beneath her fear is a sweet little dog who simply needs someone to believe in her. If you have the experience, patience and a kind resident dog to help guide her, watching Demi slowly blossom into a happy, loved companion will be incredibly rewarding.

She has some sore skin folds, which are receiving treatment at the moment.
