  • Human family requirements

I can live with older dog-savvy children who understand I need time to settle in.

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

13-07-26 Dottie is a sweet little lady who has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a loving forever home. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and will happily come over for a fuss and a snuggle, always eager to please those around her.

Every day, Dottie is growing in confidence and really starting to come out of her shell. It has been lovely to watch her personality blossom, and we know she has so much more to give once she's settled into home life.

Dottie will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home. Having a canine companion will help her continue to build her confidence and show her the ropes as she learns what life as a much-loved family pet is all about.

As she has never lived in a home before, Dottie will need patient and understanding adopters who can gently guide her through house training and teach her how to walk on a lead. With kindness, consistency, and encouragement, we're sure she will take everything in her stride.

Dottie could live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who understand that she may need a little time to settle into her new surroundings. She is a happy-go-lucky little lady who adores attention, and she is sure to make a wonderful addition to a family willing to shower her with the love and fuss she deserves.

Dottie has come to us with a Grade 1 heart murmur, and a patella luxation that will be monitored by the vets. Her adopters should be aware of this, as is may not be covered by insurance.

Dottie has a travel document.
