Darcy
17-07-26 Darcy is a very sweet and friendly little lady who has come into our care from a breeder, and all she wants to do is make people happy. She is full of energy, absolutely adores attention, and if she's not already by your side, she'll be patiently sitting nearby with her beautiful eyes fixed on you, hoping for just one more fuss. She simply loves people and is ready to be everyone's best friend.
Darcy is very small for her breed, but is just so cute and dinky. She has arrived underweight and will need a good diet, and plenty of treats to help her to a healthy weight. Her tiny stature, only makes her that much cuter!
Although Darcy can be a little nervous when meeting new people or exploring new places, it takes her no time at all to warm up once she knows she's safe. We feel she has the confidence to be the only dog in a home, provided her adopters have plenty of time to dedicate to her. She could also happily live with a kind resident dog who doesn't mind sharing their space and attention. She will need an extra-secure garden as she continues to get comfortable with the outside world.
Having never lived in a home before, Darcy will need patient adopters to help her with house training and all the other basics of family life. She already walks nicely on a lead and would love to continue building her confidence so she can enjoy lots of adventures with her new family.
Darcy could live with sensible, dog-savvy older children, aged 13+, who will give her the time she needs to settle into her new home. She is a truly wonderful little lady whose affectionate, happy nature will make her a fantastic companion for a loving family.
Darcy has a travel document.
