Dolly
17-07-26 Dolly is a sweet but shy little lady who has come into our care from a breeder and is still learning that people can be kind. At the moment, she isn't confident enough to approach you herself, but with patience, gentle reassurance, and time to build trust, she will happily accept a quiet fuss.
Dolly is a gentle, sensitive girl who is looking for a calm home with adopters who have experience and understand that confidence cannot be rushed. We would consider homing her with, older dog-savvy teens, aged 16+ that are sensible and will allow her time to settle in at her own pace. She will also need at least one kind and confident resident dog who she can look to for reassurance as she settles in and learns about life as a much-loved family pet.
Having never lived in a home before, Dolly will need patient adopters to help her learn about house training, practice her growing skills of walking on a harness, and all the new experiences that come with home life. She will need the freedom to progress at her own pace, with plenty of encouragement and understanding along the way. She will also need an extra secure garden as she learns about the outside world.
Dolly is a truly sweet-natured little lady who simply needs someone willing to give her a chance. With time, patience, and the support of a confident canine companion, we're sure her true personality will shine through, making every small step forward incredibly rewarding.
Dolly has arrived with dry eyes, that she is receiving treatment for. She has also arrived with a skin irritation that has been cleaned. The vets are monitoring her eyes, and skin to ensure her health. She has had an inguinal hernia repaired at the time of her spay.
Dolly has a travel document.
