16-07-26 Gwen is a gorgeous little puppy who came into our care as an unsold pup. She is full of life, loves a cuddle, and will make a wonderful addition to a loving home. She is incredibly easy to handle, adores affection, and is an absolute delight to be around.

Gwen has come into our care with two open fontanelles on the right side of her skull. These are currently being monitored by our veterinary team. While some puppies' fontanelles close as they mature, others remain open. If they do remain open, extra care may be needed to protect the area from injury, and regular veterinary monitoring is recommended. As this is a pre-existing condition, it may not be covered by pet insurance. Despite this, Gwen is a happy, playful, and affectionate little puppy who doesn't let it stop her enjoying life.

As Gwen is still just a puppy, she will need patient adopters who are committed to teaching her all about home life. She will need help with the basics, including house training and learning to walk on a lead once she is fully vaccinated and has been given the all-clear by our veterinary team.

Gwen could be an only dog or she could live with smaller sized, kind and gentle resident dogs who will be careful around her and don't mind sharing their space. She could also live with dog-savvy cats and sensible, gentle teenagers aged 13+ who understand that she is still a young puppy.

Gwen's adopters will need to agree to have her spayed when she is old enough and commit to taking her to puppy socialisation and training classes to help her grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Gwen is a truly special little girl who is sure to bring so much love and happiness to her forever family.
