  • Human family requirements

I can live with children, aged 13+ who understand I need space to settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I will need an extra secure garden, as I can be spooked easily!

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I have been spayed & am ready for my forever home!

22-07-26 Lemony is a worried lady who has come into our care from a breeder. She is very unsure of people at the moment and is worried about being handled. Her first instinct is to run away when she thinks we may try to pick her up, although she did allow us to gently handle her when she needed a health check.

Lemony is a very gentle and calm girl who is understandably finding everything a little overwhelming right now. We hope that, as she settles in and gains confidence from the company of her kennel friends, we will start to see more of her personality come through.

Lemony will need another kind and confident dog in her new home, and this dog will be a much-needed support system for her as she settles in and finds her paws. She can live with older, dog-savvy children, aged 13+ who understand that she needs time to settle in, and who are sensible as she can be a bit flighty.

As Lemony has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to be patient and allow her plenty of time to adjust to everything that is new to her. She will need an extra secure garden, as she can be spooked easily, to keep her safe.

Lemony is a sweet and gentle little girl who is just beginning her journey towards a brighter future. With the support of another dog and a calm, patient family, we hope she will gradually grow in confidence and begin to show her true personality.
