Lavender
22-07-26 Lavender is a shy, gentle girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is calm and very submissive when being handled, and we don't think it will take her long to come out of her shell once she begins to build her confidence.
Lavender adores her kennel friends and will need a home with at least one kind, confident resident dog that she can rely on as she learns about home life and grows in confidence.
As Lavender has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns about house training, lead walking, and settling into a new routine. With gentle guidance and plenty of reassurance, we're sure she will make great progress. She can live with older, dog-savvy teens, aged 16+ who are sensible and will allow her time to settle in at her own pace.
She can be spooked easily and may try to run away if given the chance, so she will need an extra secure garden where she can learn about the outdoors. As she doesn't walk on a lead, some garden sniffs may be a good start.
Lavender is a sweet, affectionate girl who simply needs a confidence boost and a loving home where she can flourish into the wonderful companion we know she can be.
