Enfys is a wonderful lady who has come to us from a breeder and has settled so well as she has grown to trust us. As she has settled in, her true and wonderful personality has begun to shine, and she has grown so much in confidence. As she begins to trust you, the more animated she becomes, giving us little glimpses of the happy girl she has the potential to become.

Enfys would prefer to be the only dog in the home as she enjoys her space and would prefer all of the attention on her. Her adopters would need to have experience with rescue dogs and be confident in helping her continue to build her confidence. She can live with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 16+ who are sensible and will allow her time to settle in. Her adopters will need to have experience with ex-breeding dogs to better understand her needs.

As Enfys has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding as she adjusts to a completely new way of living. Enfys has made lovely progress with her harness training and is now walking on a harness, although she does need some encouragement and reassurance. With continued patience and positive experiences, we are sure she will become more confident and enjoy exploring the world with her new family.

Enfys is a lovely girl who is already showing us little flashes of her personality. She has so much potential, and we know that with the right experienced home, she will continue to blossom.

Enfys arrived overweight, so she will need a good diet and gentle exercise to help her reach and maintain a healthy weight. This will need to be continued in her new home. She also has a Grade 1 patella luxation in her right hind leg, although this may continue to improve with gentle exercise as she builds muscle.

Enfys is also being treated for a skin rash and has some areas of alopecia. Our veterinary team will continue to monitor her progress and ensure she receives any care she needs..

She has a travel document.
