  • Human family requirements

I can live with older children, aged 16+, who understand I need time to settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I will need an extra secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I am new to lead walking, and would like to continue this once I have settled in.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been neutered and am ready for my forever home.

06-08-26 Forrest is a shy little boy who has come to us from a breeder. He is beginning to enjoy a gentle fuss once he has had a little time to settle and learn that people can be kind. He takes great comfort from his kennel friends and will happily follow them around, looking to them for reassurance. Forrest can live with older, dog-savvy teenagers aged 16+ who understand that he will need time, patience and space to settle into his new surroundings.

He will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in his new home that he can lean on as he continues to build his confidence. As Forrest has never lived in a home before, his adopters will need to be patient while he learns all about house training and the routines of family life. He is likely to find lead walking new and unfamiliar, so this should be introduced at his own pace, with plenty of time to enjoy garden sniffs while he settles in.

Forrest's adopters will need to have experience with ex-breeding dogs and provide him with an extra secure garden to ensure his safety while he gains confidence. Forrest is a lovely boy who simply needs plenty of TLC, understanding and a loving home. With time and patience, we're sure he will continue to blossom and find his paws.
