  • Human family requirements

I can live with older children, aged 16+, who understand I need time to settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I have had 6 teeth extracted at the time of my spay.

07-08-26 Quail is a lovely girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She is very apprehensive of people right now and is understandably finding all the recent changes a little overwhelming. Quail will accept some gentle attention, but she isn't entirely comfortable with it just yet and would much rather take things at her own pace while she learns that people can be kind.

Quail gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws. She can live with older, dog-savvy teens, aged 16+ who are sensible and will allow her time to settle in. Her adopters will need to have experience with ex-breeders and understand her needs.

As Quail has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding, allowing her to build confidence in her own time.

Quail is a gentle girl who is just beginning her journey towards a brighter future. With the support of a friendly resident dog and a calm, patient family, we hope she will gradually gain confidence and discover just how wonderful life in a loving home can be.

She has had a dental with us and has had 6 teeth extracted.

She has a travel document.
