  • Human family requirements

I could live with older, dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I haven’t met cats so I’m unsure.

  • House and garden requirements

I'd like a secure garden to potter around in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks yet, a secure garden will be fine for now.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn house training and lead walking.

  • Medical issues

I have been spayed, read below for more information!

12-08-26 Trudy is a proper little sweetie! She has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start and is settling in well.

She is calm and gentle and easy to pick up and handle. Trudy has met some larger dogs at the rescue and wasn't worried at all, even getting into bed with one for a cuddle! She can have her timid moments, but we don't think she is particularly scared, she just lacks a little confidence at the moment. She is eating well and is enjoying some Princess treatment, with her food being delivered straight to her bed!

Trudy gets on wonderfully with her kennel friends and relies on their company for comfort, so she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her and give her the reassurance she needs as she settles in and finds her paws.

As Trudy has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training, and the other basics of home life. Her new family will need to give her time to settle and understand that everything will be very new to her.

Trudy could share her home with older, dog-savvy children aged 9 and over, who can appreciate and understand that she will need a gentle, quiet introduction to the home and her own space to settle in.

Trudy is such a lovely little girl and we think she has a lot of potential. With a kind doggy friend, a little patience and plenty of love, we think this sweetie will soon grow in confidence and really enjoy being part of a family.

Trudy has arrived with multiple teeth missing, and had additional extractions at the time of her spay. It has been recommended for her to be on a soft food diet for the foreseeable future to ensure her comfort.

She has a travel document.
