  • Human family requirements

I can live with older, dog-savvy kids aged 13+ who allow me time to settle in.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I can be a little nervous, and will need a secure garden to learn about the outdoors.

  • Out and about requirements

I have never been on walks, but may be too scared and will need some time.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have an abdominal hernia that will be addressed at the time of spay.

26-08-26 Sixpence is a nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder. She isn’t brave enough to approach you just yet, but she is easy to handle once she is in your arms. She will need time, patience and plenty of trust-building before she feels confident enough to come out of her shell.

Sixpence relies heavily on other dogs and will follow their lead, so she will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home that she can lean on as she learns about home life and finds her paws. She will need a calm and quiet home, with adopters who have breed experience and can understand her needs.

Sixpence has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be kind and patient as she learns about house training. Lead walking may be overwhelming for her at first, so gentle introductions are important, with garden sniffs being a good place to start. She can live with sensible, dog-savvy teens aged 13+ who will give her the time and space she needs. Sixpence is a very sweet girl who just needs someone willing to give her the chance to blossom.
