27-08-26 Layla is a cute little lady who has come to us from a breeder and is a very timid and scared girl who relies heavily on her kennel friends for comfort and reassurance. She shakes like a leaf when she is approached, but it is lovely to see that she has a much more playful and active side when she is relaxed with her friends. Layla loves to explore and is clearly a curious girl underneath all of her worries, so we hope that in the right home she will slowly learn that the world isn’t such a scary place.

Layla will need at least one kind and confident resident dog in her new home who she can look to and lean on as she continues to grow in confidence and learns to trust her new family. She has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be kind, patient and understanding as she learns about house training and walking on a lead. She would love an active home where, once she has settled and feels comfortable, her family can take her on plenty of gentle adventures and help her discover all the wonderful things the world has to offer.

Layla will need an adult-only home with adopters who have experience with ex-breeding dogs and understand the time and patience these special girls need. She will need plenty of reassurance and the freedom to progress at her own pace without pressure. With a confident canine companion, lots of TLC and a family willing to help her build her confidence, we’re sure Layla will gradually come out of her shell and show just how lovely she really is.

Layla has arrived with both canines snapped at the tip, and will be assessed by our vets.
