Lucy is a very worried lady who has come to us from a breeder and is still learning that people can be kind and caring. She desperately wants to be brave but finds the world a very scary place, and can be vocal when people she doesn't know approach her. Once she gets to know you and feels comfortable with you being around, she does settle and can be calm and quiet in your presence. Lucy is such a precious girl who just needs time, patience and understanding to help her find her confidence.

Lucy is very active and playful with her kennel friends, and although she doesn't yet ask for a fuss, she will come over for a little sniff when her friends approach you. She is a girl who will need to take things at her own pace, and she has started harness training but is still learning what is expected of her. Lucy would love a home that can offer her an active lifestyle once she has had time to settle, along with at least one kind and confident resident dog who she can look to for reassurance as she learns about home life.

Lucy has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be patient as she learns about house training and walking on a lead. She enjoys her food and is fed separately here, although she is happy to take treats alongside other dogs. Lucy will need an adult-only home with ex-breeding experience, where her needs will be understood and she can be given the time, space and security she needs to blossom. With patience, kindness and the support of a confident canine friend, we hope Lucy will slowly learn to trust and become the most wonderful companion.
